The changes were made in three different funds. State statute requires counties to make amendments by the end of December if the budgeted fund is exceeded.
The first amended fund is the Victim Advocate Fund, which was increased by $246, bringing the total to expenditures to $37,191. The second fund is the Law Enforcement Sales Tax fund, which was increased by $22,299, bringing expenditures to $649,583 and revenues to $554,772. The final fund to be changed is a Civil Fees fund, which falls under the authority of the Sheriff. It was increased by $960, bring expenditures to $29,560 and revenues to $28,230.
