Ameren Missouri has gotten the green light to raise its rates. Regulators gave the Missouri based utility the go-ahead to increase charges by 63-million dollars. The average customer should see their bill go up by about a dollar-24, starting January 26th. In its filing, Ameren Missouri stated the proposed adjustment to customer rates reflected changes in its fuel and purchased power costs net of off-system sales revenues experienced during the four month period ending September 30. The utility serves approximately 1.2 million electric customers in Missouri.
