During the regular session of the Chillicothe City Council this week City Administrator Ike Holland gave a presentation before leaders on research he completed for a possible amphitheater in either Danner or Simpson Parks. Holland explains how the research was initiated.
Administrator Holland gave a brief summary of each design, including design one submitted by a regional firm.
The concepts are for council’s consideration, so what is liked from each design could be melded into a unique structure for Chillicothe.
The City Council gathered Monday for regular business, including like payroll and invoices. Municipal Airport Manager Bill Kiefer informed the council of bids on a rotary cutter for the airport grounds. Kieffer described a cutter from Tiger Co. one of the two bids received.
Sydenstrickers bid a cutter for $14,650 and Tiger Co. in Braymer bid one at $12,290. Council unanimously approved the bid from Tiger Co.
