KANSAS CITY, Mo. – One of three suspects, arrested by Kansas City Police, was wounded in an exchange of gunfire with officers Thursday night.
Officers were sent to the 4000 block of East 68th Street around 10:30 p.m., for a report of three armed men attempting to break into a home. When police arrived, the men fired shots from the residence. Help was called and police returned fire. Shortly after midnight, the three men surrendered and the injured man was treated at a local hospital for a non-life threatening injury.
Police have not released the names of the suspects.
