ANDREW COUNTY, Mo. — A resident of Kansas City was sent to the hospital with moderate injuries after his vehicle went airborne in a crash on Wednesday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that Paul A. Leuschen, 47, was northbound on I-29 when he attempted to pass another vehicle. The second vehicle began to change lanes, causing Leuschen to travel off the left side of the roadway and strike a median crossover. His vehicle then went airborne and landed on the southbound lane and struck a ditch after going off the west side of the roadway.
Leuschen received moderate injuries and was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph by Andrew County EMS.
