The Missouri Department of Agriculture is offering 30 high school 4-H and FFA students the opportunity to explore careers in agriculture through the 2021 Missouri Agribusiness Academy.
In its 34th year, the competitive program educates sophomores interested in pursuing agriculture-related degrees and careers. Selected students will have a yearlong opportunity to learn about agribusiness careers in the Kansas City metro, volunteer at the Missouri State Fair and learn aspects of the agriculture industry in Jefferson City.
The first leg of the 2021 Missouri Agribusiness Academy is slated for June 7-11, 2021. Students interested in participating must submit an application by Feb. 1, 2021.
