CARROLL COUNTY, Mo – Flooding in our area certainly isn’t breaking news. Flooding along Highway 65 and other areas plagued the region for most of 2019.

With help from area farmers and other volunteers, The Ray-Carroll Levee District is attempting to provide some solutions.

The levee district is currently building temporary levees to provide protection to area farmers because the Army Corp of Engineers won’t be able to provide support until later summer or early fall.
