MOBERLY, MO – Charges are pending against an area man after he attempted to flee Monday from authorities in Moberly.
State troopers eventually apprehended Jordan Taylor, 29, in Monroe County after being seen in a vehicle matching the description of one that fled from Moberly Monday night. During a pursuit of Taylor, vehicle speeds reportedly reached in excess of 100 mph.
Taylor was wanted on several warrants for probation violation concerning original charges for DWI and controlled substance possession. Taylor was taken to Randolph County for holding. Additional charges are being considered by the county prosecutor.
