The Keytesville School District has received a $5,000 grant from the TransCanada pipeline. Click to hear KMZU’s Chelsea Wade talk to Superintendent Tracy Bottoms:
“Part of the money we know will be spent on shrubs, flowers, and plants that will be placed around buildings on our campus,” said Bottoms,” Also, we have an area at our ball field where we have portable bleachers. We’ve had some erosion there even though we keep moving them around. We’re going to do a little dirt work and put some concrete slabs down, so that they will be more stable for our patrons.”
Grant guidelines specify that the money be used for beautification and safety purposes.
