DAVESS COUNTY, MO – A crash early Thursday morning injured two area teens in Daviess County.

State troopers say they responded to a single-vehicle accident just after 5 a.m. at southbound Route 6, at 69 Highway near Altamont, involving at least three occupants. The vehicle, driven by a 16-year-old Cameron woman, traveled through the intersection, hitting a guardrail, a sign, and several trees. A thirteen-year-old Cameron juvenile was sent to an area hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. Another occupant, Ashton Arndt, 18, of Gallatin, refused treatment for minor injuries at the scene.

Safety devices were not utilized by those injured, according to the report.
