MERCER COUNTY, Mo. – An Arkansas driver was held without bond on numerous allegations after a stop for speeding in Mercer County Thursday, Arrested-FeaturedSeptember 17, 2015.

According to the Highway Patrol arrest report, Brett M. Smith, 27, of Harrison was stopped for speeding just before 2:00 p.m. yesterday and failing to display valid plates on a trailer. During the traffic stop, Smith was alleged to have been in felony possession of a controlled substance, felony unlawful use of a weapon, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Smith was placed on a 24 hour investigative hold at the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department.
