BOONE COUNTY, Mo – One armed suspect still remains at large in an early Wednesday morning robbery August 3, 2016.

According to a press release from the Columbia Police Department at approximately 12:03 a.m., officers where dispatched to Paris Road in Columbia in reference to an armed robbery at a Sonic Restaurant .

The following investigation revealed a white male with a handgun had entered the food chain when it was closing, and demanded money from the manager on duty. The suspected male fled on foot with undisclosed amount of money. A K9 unit was used to track the suspect, and items from the robbery were recovered along with some of the stolen money.

No one was injured during the robbery, but the suspect has not yet been arrest.

On 8/3/16 at 12:03 a.m., officers were dispatched to 2210 Paris Road, Sonic Restaurant, in reference to an armed robbery.

The suspected is described as a white male, approximately 5’8″, with a slender build and wearing dark clothing. He was last seen armed with a hand gun. If anyone has any information about this robbery, please contact the Columbia Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 875-TIPS to remain anonymous.
