The Army civilian killed in an accident at Fort Leonard Wood on Wednesday has been identified. Louis Stallings, 45, of Atoka, Okla., was a railroad maintenance vehicle operator for McAlester Army Ammunition Plant.  He was conducting maintenance to the base’s railroad spur when the incident occurred.  Stallings’ death is still under investigation by the Army’s Criminal Investigation Command.  A safety investigation is also underway by OSHA, according to a report from the base.

Three other employees of the McAlester plant were also injured in the accident. Two of them were flown to a Springfield hospital where they are both listed in stable condition.  The other person received minor injuries.
