A 68-year-old Lincoln man will go before a Benton County judge Wednesday morning for the alleged murder of Brandon Shute, 23, of Cole Camp on New Year’s Day. Randall Rollins is charged with armed criminal action as well as second-degree murder. He could face a prison sentence of 10 to 30 years if he’s convicted of the murder charge, plus three years or more for armed criminal action. Rollins is being held in the Benton County jail in lieu of a $500,000 bond. Rollins is scheduled to be in court for an arraignment at 8:15.
