CARROLL COUNTY, Mo. – A Carrollton man will appear for arraignment this morning, on charges filed after a hit and run crash in Carroll County last month.

The Missouri Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a collision on southbound 65 Highway at the Missouri River Bridge near Waverly. The probable cause statement says Edward E. Arnold, 35, side-swiped a car while passing in December. Arnold fled the scene on foot, but was tracked in the snow to the cabin where he exhibited a knife.

Arnold faces a felony tampering with a vehicle charge and misdemeanors for driving while intoxicated, revoked or suspended, in a careless manner, leaving the scene of a crash and trespassing.

Court is set for 9:00 a.m. in the Associate Circuit Court of Carroll County.
