LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Mo. – A carjacking case in Lafayette County is moving forward, after the defendant waived his formal arraignment Monday morning.
Randal W. Roy, 33, of Odessa is charged with felony counts of first degree assault, robbery first degree, stealing, stealing a motor vehicle, unlawful use of a weapon and two counts each of felony armed criminal action and resisting arrest. Police say Roy carjacked a driver in Odessa then crashed the car after leading police on a pursuit in March.
A trial setting has been scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 15, 2019.
