A Kansas City man has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of a Worlds of Fun employee along Highway 210 at Searcy Creek.
According to Kansas City Police Joseph Holliway, 54, was arrested Wednesday and is also charged with leaving the scene of an accident and property damage.
Holliway allegedly struck James D. Barker, 31, around 7 p.m. July 23rd. Barker’s body was found two days later by another motorist that had stopped along the side of 210.
Holliway is in custody in Clay County with bond set at $75,000. No court date has yet been set.
