The First Saturday Lecture series will kick off at Arrow Rock on February 7th.  Executive Director for the Friends of Arrow Rock, Kathy Borgman, says the lectures are free and open to the public.  She said the first presenter, Doug Hundley,  is from Kansas City and has been speaking about Abraham Lincoln for more than twenty years. He will present “America Unfinished: Abraham Lincoln in 1865” as his theme for the first lecture.   Following the lecture the Co-op Marketing Group will serve a Chili Lunch at the old schoolhouse community center with the proceeds going to help offset the cost of printing the 2015 Arrow Rock brochure.

Borgman said they had several lectures planned for the First Saturday lecture through July and hopes that everyone will come out and enjoy the events.  Arrow Rock is located 14 miles north of Interstate 70 at exits 89 or 98 on US Highway 41.
