RURAL GALLATIN, Mo. — A search warrant executed early Monday morning in rural Daviess County by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Kansas City Field Division led to a brief perimeter search of the property when three unidentified males not related to the investigation fled police.
According to John Ham, Public Information Officer for the ATF’s Kansas City Field Division, a search warrant in relation to a federal narcotics and firearms investigation was carried out early Monday morning in the area of Unity Avenue and 285th Street, in Gallatin. Following the search, the suspect, who has not yet been named, was apprehended without issue.
Upon the department’s arrival, three unidentified males not related to the investigation took off running. A brief perimeter search of the property was conducted, and no further investigation into the three males will be conducted. They are not related to the investigation and are not believed to be a danger to the public.
