AUDRAIN COUNTY, Mo. — A crash in Audrain County sent a Paris man to an area hospital with injuries.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened on northbound state Highway 15 just south of Audrain Road 367 at about 5:00 a.m. Monday.
A vehicle operated by Larry G. Bounds, 70, traveled off the right side of the roadway before crossing an outer road and striking an embankment. This caused the trailer attached to Bounds’ truck to separate from the vehicle and overturn.
Bounds’ vehicle then continued to travel through the embankment before striking a fence.
Bounds sustained moderate injuries in the crash and was transported to SSM Health in Mexico to receive treatment.
