Suspect in Aug. 3, 2016 bank robbery of 1st Federal Bank, 8308 North West Prairie View Road, K.C.Mo.

A local student of Park University in the Northland has informed KMZU that Park University has shut down their campus activities today due to an FBI search being conducted in the area over the suspect who robbed a bank in the Zona Rosa area. The investigation into the robbery is still ongoing.

 

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A Bank robbery took place Wednesday, August 3, 2016, in the Kansas City Northland at the 1st Federal Bank at 8308 North West Prairie View Road.

The F.B.I. is reporting that a White Male approximately 6’ tall described as approximately 30 to 40 years old with a fake beard, dark polo shirt and fisherman style hat entered the bank around 9:25 a.m.

The suspect then gave the teller a demand note and threatened he had a weapon.

The suspect then fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries reported.
