Press Release from North Central Missouri College:
The dedication of North Central Missouri College’s Elizabeth and Arthur Barton Farm Campus has been rescheduled for Friday, August 26th. The 10:00 ceremony will be preceded with a free breakfast set to begin at 8:30 with all events scheduled on the new campus located southeast of Trenton.
Among the platform guests will be Dr. Jon Hagler, Missouri’s Director of Agriculture and Senator Brad Lager along with college officials and community leaders, elected officials, agriculture partners and students.
The event was originally planned for August 2nd but construction concerns halted the dedication. NCMC Foundation Director Steve Maxey said the August 26th program is one that the entire community should embrace with the development of the agriculture campus coinciding with the start of a new academic year at NCMC. “A second campus for a community college is huge and one that we should be very prod of…and combining that with the emphasis on agriculture and the tremendous financial support form this region in building this campus makes it all so very special.”
Reservations to attend the breakfast should be made by contacting the NCMC Foundation Office at 359-3948, ext 1415.
