SEDALIA—State Fair Community College will offer a five-week “Introduction to Beekeeping” course starting Feb. 23.
The one-credit-hour course teaches the basic principles of beekeeping and the importance of its role in agriculture production and maintenance of our food supply. Those who complete the course should be able to become hobbyist beekeepers.
Classes will meet from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursdays beginning Feb. 23 in the Potter-Ewing Agriculture Building on the Sedalia campus.
