Recovery and rehabilitation for 16 year old Carrollton resident Jacob Conner are progressing well following a car wreck in August.

Jacob was in a coma following the accident on August 14.
He was discharged from Children’s Mercy Hospital September 23.
Now he is undergoing rehabilitation five days a week, with a possible discharge date there set for December 16th.
A fundraiser dinner will be held Sunday October 9th from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Main Street Restaurant in Carrollton.
The menu will include an entree, your choice of three sides, choice of dessert and drink.
Donations have been made by Main Street Restaurant, Meats and More, Mulch’s Country Mart and Earlene Martin.
Menu items include ribs, bbq brisket, baked chicken and dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, buttered corn, pasta salad, cole slaw, cherry cheesecake swirl and other desserts along with iced tea (sweet and unsweet), coffee and lemonade.
The meal will cost $12.95 and advance reservations are not required.
Money raised will be donated to the Jacob Conner Special Fund.
