LEES SUMMIT, Mo.— A Lees Summit family operates a haunted house to help their community.

The Pointer family established a haunted house that benefits their local food pantry as well as the Wounded Warrior Project. Bloody Mary’s House of Horrors cost nothing. However free-will donations of non-perishable food or cash will be accepted. Bloody Mary’s House of Horrors opens at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 and again on Halloween.
