Two representatives from MoDOT came to this week’s meeting of the Concordia Board of Aldermen. Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with City Administrator Dale Klussman:
MoDOT will be funding the replacement of sidewalk steps in the 700 block of Main Street. “Currently the pitch, or the cross slope is what they call it, of the sidewalk is at a five percent cross slope, which is not acceptable by ADA standards,” said Klussman. The cost of repairs to the sidewalk itself will fall to the City.
The Board also approved an alternative source of power at this week’s meeting.
