The Concordia Board of Education will meet Thursday night. Superintendent Mary Beth Scherer says one big topic they will discuss is a potential change in the school day for next year’s calendar. They would go from seven 70-minute periods per day to four 90-minute periods. “We think that will be beneficial for kids as the move on to what happens after post-high school,” says Scherer. Other items they plan to review include the progress on a new soccer field and evaluation of the A+ and At-Risk programs. The board will meet at 7:00 p.m. in the Concordia High School Library Media Center.
