CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — A man was hospitalized after a crash involving a personal watercraft (PWC) in Camden County Sunday afternoon.
According to the report from the Missouri Water Patrol, the accident occurred at Five Finger Cove, near the 19.7 mile marker of the Osage Arm of the Lake of The Ozarks around 3:55 p.m. Sunday.
A PWC operated by Ross H. Harbert, 25, of Olathe, Kan. struck a series of waves, causing Harbert to be thrown from the vessel.
As he fell from the vehicle, Harbert’s leg became caught in the foot well, resulting in his leg breaking.
Harbert’s injuries were described as serious. He was taken by emergency crews to Lake Regional Hospital to receive medical attention.
