CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — An Illinois boater was injured at the Lake of the Ozarks Sunday.

The Missouri Water Patrol report indicates the incident occurred at the 21 mile marker of the main channel of the Lake of the Ozarks in Camden County at about 5:10 p.m. Sunday.

A watercraft operated by Raymond Capestrain, 65, of Springfiled, Ill. was traveling upstream when it struck a large wake, causing an occupant of the craft to fall, injuring themselves.

Crews responded to the scene and transported Anne Capestrain, 65, to Lake Regional Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
