(Washington, DC)  —  Republican House Speaker John Boehner continues his pledge to offer a “patient-centered” alternative to Obamacare.  In his weekly briefing, he offered no timetable for delivery of legislation that he said will contain “better solutions.”  Meantime, Boehner called the federal tax system broken and cheered efforts by the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee to advance legislation reforming the tax code.  Michigan Republican Dave Camp proposed a massive tax reform blueprint this week.  Boehner called it the start of a good conversation about tax reform.
