LIBERTY, MO – A Carrollton resident’s case is on a court docket in Clay County this week.

A child molestation case against 52 year old Louis L. Jefferson, was moved out of Carroll County after a change of venue near the start of 2018.  A hearing will consider a motion for bond reduction at 1 p.m. Thursday. Charges against Jefferson include nine felony counts, endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree, five felony counts of child molestation, and four counts second degree statutory sodomy.

Statements by investigators indicate Jefferson was accused of an inappropriate sexual relationship with a juvenile female spanning more than a decade.
