JACKSON COUNTY, Mo. – A Kansas City man charged in the murder of an infant in 2016, has been sentenced after pleading guilty.
A guilty plea for involuntary manslaughter, and two counts child endangerment, involves incarceration of 21 years. A planned hearing for 34 year old Nathaniel A. Littlefield, scheduled Thursday was cancelled in light of the plea.
Court records say, 16-month-old Messiah Henderson died at a hospital in May of 2016 after his mother returned from work to find her child unresponsive.
