UPDATE: 09/13/2018, 8:33 a.m. — A detour around the area of the crash has been setup by road crews and authorities are rerouting traffic in the area.

RAY COUNTY, Mo. — The Missouri State Highway Patrol has confirmed that 210 Highway at Route T in Ray County was closed as of 8:05 a.m. Thursday due to a motor vehicle accident.

According to a spokesperson for the Missouri Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 7:50 a.m. Thursday on 210 Highway at the intersection with Route T near Orrick. Both lanes of the roadway are currently blocked.

It was not immediately clear if anyone involved in the crash was injured, however it has been confirmed a Lifelight Eagle helicopter has been dispatched to the scene.

The roadway will remain blocked for some time as crews work to clear the scene.
