MARCELINE, Mo. — Fire crews in Chariton County are currently battling a residential fire south of Marceline.
KMZU News has confirmed a single-occupancy structure was reported ablaze just before 5:30 a.m. Monday.
Reports indicate the home is in the 21000 block of Highway 5, just south of Marceline.
It was not immediately clear if anyone was inside the home when the fire broke out, however local fire units have requested mutual aid from neighboring fire districts.
