UPDATE:  6 p.m. – Missouri Highway Patrol said they cleared the scene of the crash. No injuries were reported.

UPDATE: 06/25/17, 3:48 p.m. — A Highway Patrol spokesperson confirmed to KMZU News that traffic is moving again following the rollover crash on 36 Highway Sunday afternoon. Delays are possible as crews work to clear the rollover accident. Drivers in the area should exercise caution.

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mo. — A crash about five miles east of Chillicothe is causing traffic to back up as both lanes have been obstructed by a rollover motor vehicle accident.

A spokesperson for the Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed to KMZU News just before 3:00 p.m. Sunday that a crash on 36 Highway was blocking both eastbound lanes of traffic.

It was not known if anyone was injured in the wreck and it was also confirmed that Highway Patrol and other emergency personnel were en route to the scene.

Drivers in the area should exercise caution as traffic was blocked as of 3:00 p.m. Sunday. Motorists may consider planning alternative routes around the accident.
