UPDATE: 6:30 p.m.- At around 5:45 this evening KMZU received reports of an unknown injury accident at the 82 mile marker on I-70 westbound, just east of the Marshall junction. Original reports indicated a single vehicle had veered off the roadway and over turned multiple times.
A dispatcher with the Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed reports of the accident however could not confirm other details. As of 6:30, MSHP dispatchers confirmed emergency crews were no longer on scene. The driver of the vehicle was reported to have been injured in the accident and was subsequently transported to a local medical facility.
