The Route M bridge over Wolf Creek in Carroll County will close Monday at 7 a.m. for bridge replacement.

MACON – MoDOT will close to traffic the Route M Bridge over Wolf Creek in Carroll County on Monday, April 4, at 7:00 a.m. The bridge is located approximately three miles west of Route YY. The closure is weather dependent and could be delayed or rescheduled.

The bridge will be closed to all traffic until work to replace the bridge is completed. During the closure, motorists must choose alternate routes. A suggested detour map can be found online at www.modot.mo.gov/northcentral/safesoundprogram.htm. The bridge is anticipated to reopen May 10, 2011. The new bridge will be four-foot wider and will be striped for two lanes.
