The three people suspected of robbing the Preferred Bank in Brookfield on June 1 have been captured in Mexico, deported, and are being held in Houston, Texas.
According to reports, the trio was apprehended by Mexican authorities in Puerto Vallarta on September 5.
Jeffrey Heckman, 25, of Macon, Jacob Norris, 23, of Macon, and Alexia Baker, 23, of Shelbyville were handed over to U.S. Marshals a day later.
The group is suspected of robbing as many as five banks before escaping into Mexico in mid-July.
Reports indicate the three have been linked to robberies at a banks in Temple, Texas, Columbia, Hamilton, Brookfield, and Blythdale.
