BROOKFIELD, Mo. – The Brookfield City Council made short work of the agenda Tuesday night, so they could convene in executive session for a real gavelestate matter.

The council unanimously approved an ordinance to enter into an aviation agreement between the cities of Brookfield and Marceline, North Central Missouri Regional Airport and Crawford, Murphy and Tilly Inc. Moving on, an ordinance was approved to correct the wording of an ordinance relating to rules and regulations of the council. Payments due on the wastewater grant were presented to the council and finally the council was polled to voice matters of concern. A short discussion took place about the importance of citizen comments during council meetings before the regular session ended.
