LINN COUNTY, Mo – According to a press release, Brookfield R-III Superintendent, Kyle Collins, was identified as a contact of an individual who received a COVID-19 laboratory confirmed positive test on Wednesday, March 25.
According to the Linn County Health Department, Collins was exposed on Sunday, March 22 before working within the District on Monday, March 23. However, the risk of contagious spread was low because of the time needed to incubate before being contagious.
Collins is currently self quarantining for the 14 day period recommended by the CDC and will be tested if symptoms arise.
