SALINE COUNTY, Mo. — Two people from Brunswick were hurt in a crash in Saline County Sunday morning.

According to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Route 41 about two-tenths of a mile north of 250th Road at 10:20 a.m. Sunday.

A vehicle operated by 78-year-old Brunswick resident Leonard Dockstader was southbound on 41 when he lost control of his vehicle and ran off the roadway. His automobile then struck a drainage culvert, causing it to become airborne, before overturning and hitting the ground.

Dockstader and a passenger, Diana Dockstader, 69, of Brunswick, received moderate and minor injuries respectively.

The Dockstaders were both transported by ambulance to Fitzgibbon Hospital to receive care.
