BROOKFIELD, Mo. — Police in Brookfield arrested a Bucklin resident after a traffic stop last week.

According to an arrest report submitted Sunday, police made the stop at Nichols and West Clark on Thursday, October 1.

The license of the driver, Paul Teel, 53 was found to have been suspended or revoked. According to court records, Teel posted surety bond September of this year on a current drug possession case out of Linn County.

A K-9 unit on scene also allegedly detected narcotics prior to the confiscation of 43.5 grams of marijuana, assorted prescription pills and firearm ammunition.

Troopers recommended Teel face two felony counts of controlled substance possession. He is in custody at Macon County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.
