MARSHALL, Mo. — Monday’s meeting of the Marshall City Council will include a public hearing.
The hearing will allow citizens to address concerns regarding the city’s application for funding through Community Development Block Grant Program, which will allow the council to complete a Community Needs Assessment Document.
General comments will then be heard from the public with committee reports and reports from the city administrator and mayor following.
Discussion regarding an appointment to the board of public works will then take place, followed by a resolution which would appoint a director and alternate director to the Missouri Joint Municipal Electric Utility Commission.
Council will then take up an appropriation ordinance before adjourning to a closed session.
The meeting of the Marshall City Council is slated to get underway at 6:00 p.m. Monday at the Marshall City Office Building.
