It was an active Wednesday night for Highway Patrol troopers in the KMZU listening area as they worked a pair of accidents along with a couple of arrests.

A Chillicothe woman was hurt in a Carroll County wreck Wednesday night. The Highway Patrol reports 22 year old Amanda Sackrey was driving on County Road 130 just west of Route Z. She met another vehicle at the crest of a hill driven by 24 year old Joshua Winsor of Chillicothe. The vehicles hit each other about 6 p.m. Winsor was not hurt. Sackrey was taken to Chillicothe Medical Center with minor injuries. The accident remains under investigation.

A Trenton man was sent to the hospital after hitting a deer Wednesday night in Grundy County. According to the Highway Patrol 65 year old Charles Mang was on M-6 about two miles west of Trenton when he struck the deer. Mang was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

Possession of drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine sent a Sedalia man to jail Wednesday night.  The Patrol reports 37 year old James Baker was pulled over for failure to signal.  Baker was booked into the Pettis County Jail following his arrest shortly after 6 p.m.

A Sedalia woman also went to the Pettis County Jail Wednesday night after being accused of third degree domestic violence.  50 year old Rhonda Watson was arrested by the Highway Patrol at 10 p.m.
