CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. — A single-vehicle accident in Callaway County Sunday morning left a Centralia resident in the hospital with injuries.

At 11:20 a.m. Sunday, according to a crash report from Missouri State Highway Patrol, Deborah Stringer, 66, was eastbound on Route E (half-mile east of Route DD) when her vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a concrete culvert, became airborne, and landed off the right side of the roadway. Stringer then overcorrected, returned to the roadway, and came to rest facing northbound.

Stringer was inflicted with moderate injuries. She was transported to University Hospital in Columbia.
