CAMERON — The Cameron City Council will meet in regular session Monday evening. The council will convene about an agreement between the city and a company for management and operation services at the Cameron Wastewater Facility. An ordinance will be discussed which would impose a city sales tax for transportation purposes in Cameron, as well as the possible calling of an election on such tax to be held on November 2. The council will move into closed session before adjourning to discuss attorney-client communications and personnel. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. Monday, August 2, at Cameron City Hall.
