On Thursday night at approximately 9:18 pm, the Cameron Police Department received a 911 call for assistance from 1004 N. Harris Street, Apt. #1, in reference to an individual who had been stabbed. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with an injured male who was suffering from multiple stab wounds to the back. The victim was transported by Ambulance.
It’s believed the suspect left on foot traveling south from the area. The suspect is described as a white male believed to be in his late twenties to early thirties. The suspect is approximately 6’0″ tall and is armed with a small unknown style knife. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark in color stocking cap and possibly a plaid jacket.
The Cameron Police Department, along with the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department, the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol are currently conducting an investigation in reference to this incident.
