DEKALB COUNTY, Mo. — A Cameron driver received minor injuries after a brake failure caused a crash in Dekalb County Tuesday afternoon.
According to the crash report from the Missouri Highway Patrol, just before 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, 16-year-old Jordan Weisgerber was westbound as he approached Highway 33 on Gridley Road.
After the brakes failed on Weisgerber’s pickup, Weisgerber ran a stop sign and exited the vehicle as it crossed Highway 33.
The pickup went through a fence and came to rest in a field. A private vehicle took Weisgerber to Cameron Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
