A benefit will be held Saturday for Kimberly Troeger Rees.

The benefit will be held at the Elk’s Lodge at 401 Harvester Road in Chillicothe.
They plan to start with a pork dinner at 5 p.m., followed by a silent auction that wraps up at 8 p.m.
After that a dj will provide entertainment.
The dinner will be served for a freewill donation, and along with the pork other menu items include potato salad, beans, desserts and more.
Gilliland says her mom is coming along well and has been in remission for about eight weeks.
The money they raise will help cover travel and medical expenses that have been piling up since she was first diagnosed with cancer months ago.
