CARROLL COUNTY, Mo. — Carroll County Memorial Hospital CEO Jeff Tindle announced in a press release that he is presenting the Brunswick Youth Development Initiative with a $5,000 grant.
Tindle said in the release that many employees are tied to Brunswick as well as treating many patients from the area.
“CCMH has many employees that reside in Brunswick and we have the honor of taking care of the healthcare needs of many residents. Rural communities must work together to become stronger and to pool resources,” Tindle said.
The money will go to fund outdoor play space for children as the pool recently closed and the playground equipment is over 60 years old. In October 2018, the committee was awarded a matching funds grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources which will match up to $42,200.
“It was an easy decision to make a contribution to this great opportunity for the youth and families of Brunswick,” Tindle said. “CCMH looks forward to working more closely with Brunswick in 2019 and to provide excellent healthcare for those that utilize our facility.”
